Jeremy Bulloch will be continuing the tradition of "Sheardy Love" in honour of the late Michael Sheard.

From Reunion 6 "Sheardy Love" will become "Boba Job" so that Jeremy can make it his own.

Jeremy has asked us to continue raising money for Cancer Research UK one of Michael's and Jeremy's chosen charities.

It was with great regret that we announced the passing of our good friend Michael Sheard.
He is very much missed at "The Ball" and "Reunion"

Sheardy Love will continue to raise money for charity.
At Reunion 3 and SF Ball 12, Sheardy Love will be raised money for Cancer Research UK, a charity to which Michael donated the proceeds of his first two biographies.

Richard 'Sticky' Biggs

Richard Biggs  Richard Biggs

It was my sad task to confer the news to all ball attendees, that at 0645 Saturday, 22nd May 2004 Rick Biggs passed away.
We were all absolutely devastated as we had known Rick and Lori since Rick was our first celebrity guest ever and his first UK appearance. He and Lori became good friends and I know our hearts and thoughts go out to Lori and their two children RJ and Hunter.

The Great 'Sheardy Love' Balloon Race 2004

A message from James
James receives a cheque, to pay for his new wheelchair

For those of you who attended the Closing Ceremony, at SF Ball X, you will know that I received a great surprise in the form of a cheque for my new wheelchair.

Without my knowledge, you had all been raising the money through the Sheardy Love events.

I can honestly say that this was a great and wonderful surprise to me. I was speechless, which some people cannot believe. And for all of you who had paid to see it, yes I did cry - a lot.

I was very deeply moved by this and, can honestly say that I am very lucky to have an extended family and friends like the SF Ball, both crew and attendees.

I am very grateful to everybody for all they have done and would like to say a big THANK YOU to you all. It means such a lot to me and I hope that this new chair will last as long as the previous one did which I had for twelve years.

Thank you once again and see you all next year at SFB 11.

Warmest regards and thanks

James Ash
